Questions worth taking into the conversation

It is fine to ask for a slower explanation. These questions give you a starting point for a real conversation.

The answers about rules are dated September 26, 2026.

Does specialist tell me the person’s licence?

Ask what kind of health professional is behind the word specialist and what state permission they hold.

As of September 26, 2026, Colorado health ads naming a health professional must say what kind of state licence, certificate or registration they hold.

Ask it this way

What is your professional role, and which Colorado licence or registration covers my care?

Is FDA registered the same as approved?

No. As of September 26, 2026, an FDA registration or listing does not mean a business or its drug has FDA approval.

The FDA also does not approve a doctor’s office as a care provider.

Ask it this way

Are you describing product approval, a state licence or registration of a facility?

Can an online form be the whole assessment?

As of September 26, 2026, the Colorado Medical Board says an online form alone is not a proper basis for prescribing.

Ask how the clinician reviews your answers and handles further questions.

Ask it this way

How will I speak with the person making the care decision?

Is a made-to-order version just a generic?

Describing a compounded drug as an approved medicine’s generic is misleading in the FDA’s September 26, 2026 position.

Compounded means prepared to order, rather than an approved finished drug product.

Ask it this way

Please name the specific product and explain why you suggest it for my need.

What belongs in the price answer?

Ask for the medicine, visit, tests, membership and follow-up charges on the same written quote. Ask what changes after an offer ends.

Ask it this way

What is included, what is extra, and how do I stop ongoing charges?

Where does a Colorado complaint go?

As of September 26, 2026, the Colorado licensing division takes complaints about clinicians, pharmacists and pharmacies.

The person or business you complain about receives what you submit.

The boards can act on a licence. They cannot award money, settle fees or impose criminal penalties.

The Colorado Attorney General also takes complaints about false ads, scams or billing.

That office accepts complaints, but cannot investigate your individual case or bring it to court. It cannot give you legal advice or act as your lawyer.

Ask the office what help, if any, it can offer for your problem before you expect it to take over your case.
